Richard Giannotti

Richard Giannotti is an experienced wealth advisor and director of the sports & entertainment division at Global Wealth Management. In addition to assisting athlete clients and their families with their unique financial needs through the sports & entertainment division, Richard works with prospective individuals and families to create customized financial plans to prepare them for life to and through retirement.
Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance from the University of Miami. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Richard began his career playing baseball at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he was a first-team all-state outfielder and a member of the National Honor Society.
Richard was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in 2001 but elected to pursue an athletic scholarship to the University of Miami, where he started as a freshman, eventually helping lead the Hurricanes to two College World Series appearances.
In 2004, Richard was drafted by the Anaheim Angels, which sparked a nine-year professional baseball career with the Los Angeles Angels, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs of the Atlantic League.
He is an Investment Adviser Representative who passed the Series 7 and 65 exams and holds the 2-15 & 2-20 insurance licenses.
Richard lives in Fort Lauderdale with his wife Kristen and two boys, Beau and Banks. In his free time, Richard likes to travel with his family to sporting events and to visit their families in the northeast.
